What are the different thick stripes (home screen thin stripe: left+center=green, right=red; application screen - e.g. filebrowser - thin stripe same like on home screen and on top of it thick stripe center=blue) on the top of the screen for?

Because of my low karma I can't send screenshot's.

left+center=green, right=red; sounds like Battery Overlay application

thin stripe same like on home screen and on top of it thick stripe center=blue - this is Pulley Menu indicator. You can start Tutorial application from Applications Grid to learn more about SailfishOS navigation and gestures.

Yes coderus, you are right. I was not aware, that I've installed Battery Overlay exactly before I've made the last system update. So I was thinking that the stripe is related to the system update. Thank's for your hint.
