I recently acquired the Turing Phone, and whilst I appreciate the Sailfish OS and what it stands for,I would much prefer Android OS on my phone. I understand this may take some tech skills, but I am tired of using Sailfish over Android.

Send me your turing phone and i will send you my nexus 5 9/10 condition (which for now is running SFOS :D ), but i can install any of custom roms 7.1.1 or official 6.0.1. Also i will be very grateful :) I can send you my nexus 4 too (broken back glass) runs SFOS too :D but i can install android before sending on that too :)

No it is not possible to delete SFOS from the Turing phone and go to Android OS.
Perhaps he was asking how to install Alien Dalvik so Android apps support? Just guessing. This can be downloaded and installed from Jolla store.

I think you would get better welcoming to your question and real answers from the community your are trying get being part of (AOSP) rather than community that you are walking away from (SFOS).

Maybe the OP likes the Turing Phone for its toughness. Maybe he regularly gets his phone run over by a tank! Send it to me - I'll have a go. No guarantees ;)
