Bug: Tag amounts change on the fly [answered]

Not sure if this is really a bug or just something the purpose of which I don't understand but I'm confused about the tag amounts shown here on the site since they change on the fly, depending on what you do.

In the screenshot below the list on the left shows what I saw on the frontpage, and the list on the right shows what the same tag list said after clicking on the tag "feature-request".

Is that a bug or am I just missing something?

It is indeed confusing. The tags are calculated based on the number found on each page you browse. You will also notice that clicking 1 tag will display all posts under it, increasing the count number accordingly (the one on top of the given query). The number in the right column cannot ever exceed 30 as it's the maximum amount of entries having the tag in a single page...
