Cannot change SIM card from events screen

I am pretty sure I used to be able to select which SIM card to use from the top widget in events screen.

I noticed some time ago that I cannot do that anymore. Also the setting in Settings app -> Cellular network -> Use SIM card does not seem to have any effect.

The only way I can select which SIM card to use is from Settings app -> SIM cards -> Use SIM card.

Can anyone please confirm if this is a bug or intended behavior?

I'm on 2.1.0.10, Jolla C

Top of events screen the sims are only shown if one or more is deactivated. For other stuff you should put the sim card menu as short cut into the events screen.

For me it works (imo) as expected. When I choose "Ask everytime" the option to choose is not shown in eventview. If I choose a specific sim-card then the switch is shown. For me it's intended because if the systen should ask everytime I don't need to choose the sim-card in eventview. But if I choose a sim-card and want to switch for a call, then the switch is pretty useful.

But does the switch work when you have chosen a specific card? I tap on the second card and nothing happens...

try rebooting the phone, helped for me, when switch got stuck

Indeed rebooting the phone helped. It does seem like a bug then, switch in events view can get stuck.

"Settings app -> Cellular network -> Use SIM card" relate to the selection of SIM card for cellular data. It's intended behavior.
