Porting to 64-bit Devices

I am interested in trying to port Jolla to other devices, mostly to 64-bit devices. Is there a beta version of Sailfish OS (ARMv8 AArch64) available for developers / porters that we can use for the same?

IRC channel is always the best and the most helpful. Anyway before go there to ask your questions perhaps following materials can help you to find what to ask about and what was described/documented so far to help with start porting.

Why?

In open sources projects sometimes most value/helpful hints are spread here and there. Can happen those links are not enough for you, but can save your time and IRC time when you can read about some essentials and this allow you to ask better questions, so you will receive better answers most probably.

Of course IRC is blessed fountain of knowledge, but it is easier to drink from it having general introduction. And note that even having the best intentions nobody at IRC will type in you contents of above linked sources. So why not to try them? If something or all will be inadequate for your needs you can just skip it. But if this is what you are looking for you will save your time and efforts. Reading those will be simply more comfortable IMHO.

And last but not least: why to IRC without having or being more or less solid prepared? Being prepared/introduced means better and more effective conversation in most cases for both sides.

I am not sure but seems to me I have seen a community port for Moto G5, I think it may be it exists and you ought to ask uncle Google, find a porter with ported port, and kindly ask for image with how-to instruction - if it exists and if author want to share.
