When in call and another call is waiting on the other line, there shall be a sound notification in the earpiece(headset) indicating there is call waiting. Currently I do not hear any notification, I just notice I have a missed call after I terminate the active call.

This is on the task list. Unfortunately I cannot give you any fix date but not yet in the upcoming update. Sorry :(
I am very sorry, I understand it is frustrating to wait. We have fixed this but it did not make the following release: https://together.jolla.com/question/29506/official-announcement-the-next-update-release-is-in-early-march/. The reason is that there were so many other important problems and we can only do as much. Please check the list of bugs that have been solved since the last release, hopefully it gives you yet a bit more patience to wait for one more release.

And do not worry - most Jolla users completely understand how many big and small changes,fixes and features need to be developed and how hard it is to roll out an update monthly. I think the same, it should be a sound alert advising you that you have an incoming call. I found out that I had a missed call because the led indicator was blinking, but as I said the call was missed.

Anyway for throwing away any doubts - my N900 and N9 both beep into the earpiece when a call is waiting, both on the same carrier network and same SIM card inside.
