EDIT: Web pirate is the best as of my experience . But its no more maintained by the developer .

Changes request for web pirate:

  1. top pulley menu can be replaced by additional 2 buttons New tab &refresh (every time we must go to top of the page to open a newtab or refresh - delay )

  2. Bottom pulley menu or Like in Editor app to add favourites , night mode, settings .

    3.play music & video downloads .

4.Bottom action bar can be ordered like this ( refresh btn ,title, new tab, recent tabs with bottom pulley or Like one in Editor app )

Can Anyone maintain Web prirate App bu your own ?

Q&A Details :

Webkit engine could be updated for smooth experience and to match up with modern browser's . Browser should also have many features with inbuilt download option and easy switchable layouts , recent apps made easier , FASTER PAGE LOADS .

Default apps should be better Always . There's a line " You Want More users then provide the Best of what your capable " - i mean the default apps .

This is all my opinion . I have tried all browser's in jolla & open repos . They are individually developed ones . i appreciate them but it actually misses more .

Regarding WebKit Engine
The basic problem is that Firefox is rather fat and not native to Qt. So the WebKit based browsers make a more streamlined impression. Sadly Jolla is slowly following upstream major release of Qt and therefore WebKit. But this is anyway a dead end, Digia (the company behind Qt) has deprecated qt-webkit and replaced it by Blink (the fork of WebKit by Chrome). A awful decission, Google cares about Chrome becaused it can bound the users to it's services and not because the want together at a CROSS-Plattform-Browserengine. Apple is also problematic, but nowadays they tend to work fine with WebKit2Gtk and but no more with Qt :(

But there is hope - Qt5 WebKit is again maintained! So either the app-developer or better Jolla provided a current package for Qt5 WebKit and the situation can become better.
