Not a bug, as I'm pretty sure it works like this on most phones with front facing cameras, at least those running Android. You get a mirror image on screen because turning the phone in opposite directions to the image you see would be counterintuitive, and you get a regular picture afterwards because no one wants to have a picture where all the text is reversed. Think of it like going to a hairdresser: your nice new haircut you've only seen in the mirror looks reversed to everyone else, and to yourself when someone takes a picture of you.
On computers this is different, because the camera doesn't move around all the time and you generally sit in the same position, so directly seeing the end result is less of a problem.
Now you can unflip it........or flip it, which ever way you want to look at it :)
