[Idea] Cover/Tiles similar to Windows Phone & More [subjective]

Dear Sailfish Community & Co (Jolla etc).

I started fresh with Sailfish OS, coming right from iOS and WP7/8 (WP10 was horrible in most ways). While I am new to the Sailfish OS and therefore, might not be aware of certain ground rules on layout/functionality or so with this idea. Please don't bite my head of, bringing up this idea.

So, since using SFOS and loving the over all experience, there are a few things really missing to my opinion. One of the most noticeable are the Covers/Tiles, while they are there to quickly switch between apps. The "quick actions" are very limited or not really useful. Also the arrangement of the Covers/Tiles is not very appealing , specially when they have no thought out quick actions applied. Therefore, having a Home/Cover screen similar to how the Windows Phone Tiles worked (some with quick actions, some with information, some just to get to the apps quickly. for your open apps. would be a nice addition to SFOS.

I've searched and saw many people requesting more quick or better use of the cover space used. Which this idea also is partly based on.

• Other things are a better integration of messaging apps (Jolla versions of those apps maybe?)
• Being able to answer a message right from the lock screen/event view without having to go into the app.
• At least have WhatsApp as a Jolla native app with the same layout/Style as the current messaging/sms app.
• Able to integrate more accounts for messaging (if that is even possible)
• Showing the Facebook feed in the event views (or am I still missing something to achieve this already)

I really enjoy the switch so far (because of lack of certain features) actually spend less time on the phone. Which can also be seen as a + to switching to SFOS ;)
