Lanyard connection point [duplicate]

When still in the design stages I asked on facebook if there would be a lanyard connection point on the final model. Unfortunately there isn't. However, with a bit of ingenuity, a small drill, a Nokia 5800 elastic wrist lanyard and a small needle you can make one.

Drill a small hole in the bottom of the other half in the middle of the curved bit, snap a section out of a sewing needle using pliers to just fit between the middle two ridges in the plastic (this needs to be just over 1cm long), thread the lanyard through the hole and flip it over the needle so it tightens onto the needle, then pull it snug. You will have to carve a little bit out of the curvy section to let the needle sit in a bit more of a recession as the although the needle by itself will fit in the case with room to rattle, once the lanyard string is looped over it pushes the case out just a tiny tiny bit.
