I have been trying to unlock the bootloader on my new Xperia X, but due to my subpar computer skills/incompatibility with Windows 10 I haven't been able to do so, despite several attempts. This has taken up a lot of time and since I'm a fairly busy person I was thinking that it's best to leave it to the experts. I took the phone to a local phone repair store and they were unable to help. So my question is as follows: Is there any kind soul out there in the greater Helsinki area willing to unlock the bootloader for me? I would of course be willing to compensate for the time and effort put into it.

Cheers in advance :)

I had the same problem, spent many hours and somewhere I finally found the remark, that the "driver certification enforcement" (or something like that) has to be disabled on win10 to be able to unlock the bootloader. There was nothing mentioned at sony or jolla about that. So maybe this helps if you can't find help otherwise. https://www.google.fi/amp/s/www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-to-disable-driver-signature-verification-on-64-bit-windows-8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/amp/
