lockscreen turn off the phone even if using media controls

i know it's a lockscreen and it's use is to lock the phone, but i noticed it locks the phone even when you are choosing a song via the media controls...sometimes the album is bigger and it may take a while, while finding the song we were looking for, so the phone should stay alive and not turn black as it's doing now...don't know if it's intended or it's a bug so i will mark as both, hoping it will be changed in the future...
