Does someone have installed successfully Garmin Connect on sailfish x? This is one of apps I need on my daily phone. I remember that it was not possible on my Jola C due missing bluetooth profiles.

I installed Garmin connect through APKMirror. I am however not able to pair it with my watch as it claims it does not support bluetooth smart. I am not sure whether there are any workarounds?

My Garmin Nüvi paired successfully with my Jolla phone and with my Xperia X until 2.1.3.7 Kymijoki, then failed systematically since 2.1.4.xx Lapuanjoki.

Phone directory access was lost when SFOS 2.1.x Iijoki was released.

I have installed it, but it clams that Android does not fulfill the needs for pairing with BT.

Ok, so it remains as it was a year ago. It is somehow sad, sailfish is close to be uses as a daily phhone but still misses little important things. But is this app with some effort runnable?

No extended BT functionality in Sailfish's Android support ???

My Garmin Nüvi got connected seamlessly. Just like with previous SFOS releases since 2.x.x, the Nüvi can't access the phone directory (note: using audio only. Not using Android).

I can't even get the Garmin Connect app to start. I haven't installed Google Play services which I'm guessing is the problem. Has anyone got the app to run without installing any Google stuff?

Yes I have, installed with no problem from yalp store. BT doesn't work, but I am able to login and watch previous runs and interact with others.
