Sponsoring dedicated app development
Hi
I am using an android phone as my main phone and not anymore a jolla 1 or jolla C, unfortunately. I would love to switch to sailfish x as main phone. I already have one and sailfish x works good.
But some critical apps do not work. I am a developer but not in the mobile aera. So I can't make the app I want runnable. On the other hand, I don't see an indication that the app I want will run in the near future.
Therefore, I came up with an idea to sponsore the work of making the app I need runnable on sailfish.
Open is for me how both sides are sure to get what is expected.
In my case I am willing to sponsor to make garmin connect android version runnable with a significant amount of money. The app can be installed but it doesn't run.
What do you think?
Tx, Ralf
Garmin Connect runs fine on my Xperia X / Sailfish OS 2.1.3.7 but of cause without the possibility of bluetooth synchronization (due to Alien Dalvik's lack of BT support). So in this particular case, sponsering app development would not solve the problem. Improving and updating Alien Dalvik (or some other Android compatibility layer) would.

He might be open to develop the features you miss into this app.
