Make it possible for committed volunteers to opt in for "early access" to updates to the OS, apps and such! Getting timely and high-quality feedback is useful for any open source project, and I imagine this also goes for Sailfish OS, Mer, Jolla's software stack and more.

Jolla Tides writes about Native Beta Apps From OpenRepos, which is fine. Is there something equivalent for the Jolla stack/OS? (If there already exists such a service, then maybe Jolla could publish more information about how to join? :))

Isn't that what being a beta-tester is all about?

@Milo: Sure; that's a reasonable way of putting it (although in my mind, "beta tester" means more "early" than "often"). How does one become a beta tester? :)

@sjn: That's what I consider myself for buying a product that says "beta" in its product info.

@Milo: Yeah, I see that. I'd love if the "beta" label also included the option for closer communication with the developers, hence this question. :)
