Hi all, I tried to install predictive text on Sailfish X 2.1.3.7 using pkcon install jolla-xt9 as per a previous question from the command shell. It ran until it got to "Waiting for authentication" then failed to obtain it. What should I do? Sorry if this is a really simple thing; I'm not used to linux.

Why are you installing it via terminal? Do you bought SailfishX ? Or on which device did you try installing it?

Less 'forgot', more like 'didn't know in the first place"! Thanks from a non-linux hardware engineer. NB this is on the Xperia; it isn't installed on Sailfish X by default unless I missed a question during the installation process (which is very likely).

It should have been ticked for download after adding Jolla account to device. That said quite common for either Predictive Text Input, Microsoft Exchange or Android Support to fail to download dependent upon pressure on Store server. Just go into Jolla Store and try again."Waiting for authentication" would imply that you have not yet added Jolla account to tie IMEI to SailfishX image however.
