How to resolve wrong lock status with android apps?

Hello,
I have tried to use an alternative Android camera app (Camera FV-5) on Sailfish OS X on my Sony Xperia X device and found it to work astonishingly well (20 MP image resolution, autofocus working very well, just a few bugs). Unfortunately I am not able to access the app's settings. The app's error message says: ”Unlock the device to access the app's settings!“. This error message should not appear since the device was unlocked in those instances.
Does anyone have an idea of how to find out more details about this bug and maybe also how to resolve it?
