Hi,

This is a little annoyance for me - probably since I use the phone just to look my mail/calendar. I use laptop for actual work... So the result is that there is totally useless "you have 50 unread emails" things in the notification screen...

So when you go to screen where are all notifications, there is no pulley menu to clear all notifications. Instead you get the wifi/flight mode etc buttons. I find it very annoying that you have to tap and inspect each notification to get it removed from the screen, as 90% on them are totally irrelevant.

Could you add "Clear all notifications" to the pulley menu?

You can hold on any notification. Then you will see an "x" in front of every notification to delete it. at the same time a pulley menu appears, where you can delete all notifications. did you try this?

Just tried - yes it does work. Bit complicated in my mind though.

I suppose this is about what is user's 1st choice? In my mind, delete all in the 1st choice, drilling down comes second. I myself would not put notifications so important - but its true that other OS:s have the same "feature". macOS is also annoying in this sense.

Thanks!

i do not see the big issue here.

When you long press anywhere on the events screen, there is also an 'X' for every application which has more than one notification, which removes all notifications for that application. It should probably also appear for applications with only one notification - if only for consistency's sake. I think this combined with what @Zandi already wrote is just what you were looking for.

hello, same feeling : many mails in notification (including spams) makes text messages "difficult" to find. what about one of following feature: -be able to chose notification sources : cal, mail, text -only notify mails comming from contacts -only notify mails comming from contacts with a specific field (like friend) ON.

have a nice evening

Yes, great idea to have filtering there, so user would see only stuff he considers actually relevant.
