I just used the backup and restore function to transfer my personal data from the Jolla1 to the Xperia X with Sailfish. It did it by inserting the SD-Card of the Jolla1 with the backup into the Xperia. Restoring the backup works for Gallery, Accounts, Calendar, but my contact list on the X remains empty.

What can I do? How can I transfer my contact list manually?

Both phones are on v2.1.3.7.

Open Jolla 1 backup go to People -> Data -> Copy all.vcf to Xperia X home directory. -> Open Settings -> Apps -> People -> From contact file -> choose all.vcf

Note that the backup container has only those contacts that have not been synced from/to any cloud service (e.g. Google). In other words, the backup has only the "local" contacts. If your contacts are in the cloud, then simply sign in to your corresponding account from Xperia, and let the contacts be downloaded.

@jovirkku No synched contacts, all local. I checked the all.vcf and it contains all contacts. It just wasn't loaded with the backup restore for some reason. I'll try later manually like @atlochowski suggested.

Thank you @atlochowski, it worked. I still don't understand, why the backup-restore didn't work. But you answered the question I asked :)
