I don't use android apps too often so I turned the alien dalvik autostart OFF, but after that android apps didn't start. So I started the android support manually but still android apps doesn't want to start. Looks like they are starting but then they close and that's all. For example Skype will play the starting sound and Instagram will flash gps indicator but nothing more. Only way to get the android apps running again is to reboot with android support auto start ON and even after that it may take several tries to get them running.

Edit (Pawel): i have reused the issue as it was never closed. with the update to 3.0.08 on xperia x i again face the issue, that i have to start alien dalvik manually. just to start an android app wont do. i also have to push the button like 5-10 times in order to get it started

After the update Lapuanjoki, I've faced up similar problem when starting Android apps after reboot. Sometimes they just don't start and the solution is either to reboot again or restart Android runtime. Good to know, I also have "Aliendalvik auto start" on, so Android runtime starts automatically.

This worked with the later versions of Sailfish 2. But it is reproducibly gone again with 3.0.0.8. I would like to have that feature again.

I've noticed same behaviour. I had Android support to start on bootup and I usually started Opera browser after reboot and often times it wouldn't start and I have to stop Android support and start Opera again. Eventually I disabled the Android support on bootup.
