Hello everyone, I am new in Sailfish package deployment. I did a Czech language pack for OKBoard and would like to distribute it. I am on Windows and already installed the SDK and VirtualBox things. I've already connected to the Sailfish OS Build engine but here I stuck.

I actually want just do a rpm package with three files (predict-cs.db.gz, predict-cs.ng.gz, cs.tre.gz) which should be installed in "/usr/share/okboard" but I have no idea how to start to do it. In many places on the internet are shown tutorials how to do an application but I am building something like library. It won't be probably difficult but a hint needed...

Thanks Jan

@cizister

I learned how to build packages using this walkthrough; http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=92963&highlight=rpm+packaging+for+noobs - bearing in mind, this is aimed at building packages on the device, not in SDK.

I downloaded and extracted the contents of an existing language pack to see the contents, there isn't much. Three folders /usr/share/okboard/ and contents of 4 items inside (3 x .gz files and 1 x .id file). This was the package I looked at; https://openrepos.net/content/ferlanero/spanish-language-okboard

Ahoj, doufám, že se ti podaří vydat funkční RPM =)

Maybe some kind of selfextracting python script RPM could be used.

Thanks you all for your hints and recommendations. I've done the package here https://openrepos.net/content/cizi/czech-language-okboard I hope it will work as expected.
