Hi all,
at the weekend i crushed my Jolla Phone and the display is broken now. Phone works, but how long?
Which alternative phones exists to run sailfish OS? What is your experience with these alternatives?

If you can live without Alien Dalvik, the Xperia X Compact with Steph's community build is a very good successor as well. It's slightly smaller than J1 and a very nice form factor. Reminds me of the N9.

My suggestion would be the Xperia X if it wasn't for the fact that it's gone out of production to be replaced by the XA2, which is supposed to get official Sailfish support with the next update (2.2.0) that was at least at least supposed to come out this month. You can still find Xperia X's in plenty of places at good prices (old stock tends to be sold at a good discount), but if you can wait a few weeks you can get a newer model device if you want the latest and greatest.
Still, with both the Xperia X or the XA2 you're getting a good device that's definitely a step up from the original Jolla phone (which is what I personally used before the Xperia X). I've seen the X go for about 200 euros, which does offer a better value proposition than the XA2 that goes for 300+ euros.

I'm not sure this is correct - IIRC only Xperia X dual-sim should be officially suported by Sailfish OS 2.2.0 while XA2 will be supported only by 3.x.

Xperia X is the one-and-only viable alternative atm, I guess. Until Sailfish 3 comes...
