Hello, I've updated my Jolla 1 yesterday evening to 2.2.0.29 EA. First I've done a Backup to my SD-Card. Unfortunatly I have now lost around one Year of my Pictures on the SD-Card. Searching here, I found the Recommendation to use Sailfish Utilites /Tracker Database Cleaning but without success :-(

PS: I have restored my Backup from Yesterday without Luck :-(

Ciao Walter

Have you browsed your µSD card manually with the file browser or with a computer to check if they have actually been deleted?

PS: the local backup doesn't backup pictures.

Updating your device should not wipe out your pics. I updated mine without losing mine.

Someone on talk.maemo.org experienced the same problem: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=1544986&postcount=47

I had the same problem. Pull the SD card asap. I recovered 642 photos from my SD card using a program called photorec on my PC (though you could probably run in on your Jolla if you trust it now!).
