After Update to 2.2.0.29 and Update of File Browser to Version 1.7.2 I still miss the entrie "Sdcard" in the Shortcut menu. I only got: home, android storage and root. A lot of user seem to have the sdcard option back in 1.7.2. I find my card in /media/sdcard/nemo/uuid and /run/media/nemo/uuid. So what is wrong in my system? Xperia X with official SFOS X

Edit: Just updated my Jolla1. File Browser shows sdcard shortcut. But I realized one differenz: Xperia X: under /media is the folder "sdcard" and in this folder I find the symlink "nemo" to »/run/media/nemo. Jolla1: under /media I directly find the symlink "sdcard" to »/run/media/nemo

I figured it out. After reading this Thread: https://together.jolla.com/question/184877/sdcard-symlink-is-incorrect/ I just removed the old /media/sdcard folder and created a new symlink with: ln -s /run/media/nemo/ /media/sdcard Now my sdcard is linked in File Browsers shortcut menu

yes, but this clearly shows that the bug is not fixed upstream. That's a workaround!

This was already noticeable in the pre-release and was reported. Nobody fixed the error.

I experienced exactly the same problem on Jolla 1. I thought that my specific setup with 64Gb card formatted as btrfs may be the reason. What can I do to help sorting this out?

File Browser app has been updated to match the new path to the SD card. Update your File Browser. No need to touch the symlinks any more.

Come on @jovirkku, read the question before posting a totally useless non-answer. @dirksche is already using File Browser 1.7.2, it's in the first sentence of the question! This is the second time you haven't read the question at all. There is clearly something messed up with the symlinks as you have to manually select the SD card in the Camera settings after the update. If the symlink had worked correctly this would not be needed.
