Contacts: what about this bridge-database that sits between SailfishOS and Android Apps?
Just came across https://sailfishos.org/wiki/Contacts. There it says in the chapter about Android compatibility: "Contact data is shared with Android applications which have been approved by the user, via a device-local bridge database. Contact data is synchronized with that bridge database periodically."
Now this would be interesting, to fiddle with this synchronization process. What about sharing only specific data with Android apps? What about giving AApps only access to telephone numbers restricting access to all other information? I only say: "Whatsapp"!
Anybody got some more information on this? Technical? Where can one interfere with this process?
Cheers, Stephan
how about viewing contacts in an android app, complete with the notes field :)
