SFOS 2.2.1.19 Nurmonjoki (unofficial?) release is out (see https://coderus.openrepos.net/whitesoft/sailversion). I upgraded manually (ssu re 2.2.1.19 + pkcon refresh + version --dup in developer mode).

Many patches that did not work with 2.2.1.18 are now OK. System information still says I am running 2.2.0.29 Mouhijoki. Permanent, annoying and useless 2.2.1.18 upgrade alert displayed. So I'm wondering if I actually upgraded or downgraded.

Whatever problems you experience by not sticking to the official upgrade channel and installing something not intended for your device, you deserve them - and Jolla is under no obligation to help you. And if you need certain patches so bad, it's up to you to edit them to make them work. Closing thread as nrsisti has given you the only applicable answer.

@bocephus Everyone was polite and I don't see why the question isn't valid. There's no reason to be unfriendly. Nrsisti has handled the request and that's it.

The only official public release is 2.2.1.18. You should update to that.

@Nrsisti see that comment from @objectifnul ? people are not upgrading, because patches dont work. this only shows these patches importance, and should worry jolla! maybe you should discuss internally how you can include the functionality of those patches in stock....

+1. Also the flight mode's change by means of Situations doesn't work at the moment. Jolla please inform of the changes in the API for the apps' developers.

+1 too. Jolla has apparently no patch endorsement policy. This is a pity, as the UX obviously could benefit from it.

@objectifnul, the reason your "patches started working" after the update is because you downgraded to the version the files were patched on!!

patches just don't magically start working :)

what you should do (and what I always do) is check the set of patches by hand and fix the chunks that don't apply.

As i know 2.2.1.19 is the version only for Inoi R7 (OMP)
