it appears gmaps are unable to acquire gps position (spins indefinitely); i tried different configs from the settings menu (precision & non) but same result.

Not best of tests as not out and about, but no problems acquiring position with Location and High-accuracy positioning enabled on F5122.
aspergerguy ( 2018-09-29 21:16:55 +0200 )editoften, restarrinig the android layer and/or restarting the network (used for the "assisted" and tower-based parts of positionning, and also for the maps themselves) seem to fix troubles in my GMaps-powered apps (e.g.: car sharing finder).
