I just got an mail notification from my work email and the clock was 17:45

Off peak interval Off
Peak time starts 9:00

The mail sync in general feels bugged: I've setup a 30min interval for checking the mails, and it seems that this is respected only when actively using the phone (i.e. the 3G connection is active). When the phone is unused for some time, it looses the connection and does not try to sync at all...

This is confirmed now that it still syncs emails from this account despite it is 18:18 now. I think I'll put my phone in silent mode during my beauty sleep.

Known problem(device timers + wakeup and suspend), fixed already internally, will be released in next updates depending on the release and testing windows.
