Add possibility to have plain black background in Application page, Home and Launcher screen [answered]

For a minimalistic look and better contrast it would be great to have a possibility to have plain black background in Application background, Homescreen and Launcher. This could be an option for ambiances where the transparent background is disabled and plain black background is used instead when moving from Lockscreen to Homescreen or in to the applicjations. If a future Jolla would have OLED display this would also save battery.
think these kind of options should be added to the allready requested ambience app

jgr ( 2014-01-24 11:45:07 +0200 )editI think black picture helps for applications, but in home screen the color of the background seems to come from the highlight / secondary highlight color. Also it would nice to have a real picture as a background in the lock screen.
soloist ( 2014-01-24 12:25:24 +0200 )editOn the other hand, the current Jolla LCD display can not really reproduce a black color - I wonder what happed with the "Estrada display" they spoke of earlier... so this feature request could be postponed until a Jolla phone with a "proper" display is out :)
