up-swipe from bottom to close app
I would like to have the option to be able to close apps by swiping up from the bottom the same way you swipe down from the top. So, center-swipe down from the top gives me the top menu, center-swipe up from the bottom gives me app menu, swiping at the sides either down from the top or up from the bottom closes app - logical and consistent.
this adds both unnecessary redundancy and complexity for the gestures. especially since the new top menu gesture might be revised again (it should imho)

I some how like the idea in that sense that it would bring back one-hand-operation of Sailfish smartphones.
