In Sailfish 3, the top menu is available from almost any screen (events, opened apps and currently opened app) and not just the events screen anymore. This is nice because we can for example quickly access to network and flight mode buttons. This fits well with the swipe from top corners to close an app. But I noticed that the top menu is not available in the installed applications view (where you can see all applications installed and start them). To keep Sailfish OS consistent with a great user experience, we should be able to access the top menu from any screen. Please fix this issue in the next update! I guess a small QML code change should do it.

What do you mean by "installed applications view"?, is this a reference to the launcher?

@Edz I meant the screen where you can see all applications installed and start them. I am not sure if that is what you meant by launcher, it can be a confusing term because the "Sailfish OS launcher" or "Jolla launcher" term was used to refer to the Android app: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolla_Launcher

That's called/commonly referred to as "launcher", ok thanks, just wondered what you meant.

The launcher view (where you can see all installed applications) is an global overlay, just like the top menu, so they conflict afaik and can't be activated over each other.

@Mohjive ok, so maybe there is not an easy way to do it but it would be nice if there is a solution.
