Problems with the vpn connection

Since I started to use SFOS i have been using a vpn for privacy, nevertheless i am confronting problems, my vpn connection is dropping off suddenly without my knowledge. I realized it because my internet started to get stuck and i installed Nethogs, then i saw how everytime it happens, my connection change from the device VPN0 to RMNET_ . I am using an openvpn connection. I woud like to know how to make the vpn connection persistent even with any sudden changes in connectivity.

Hello Did you put the .crt certificat in the openvpn directory ?

No, cause i am using .ovpn files for the configuration

After you imported the .ovpn file did you go to Advanced and add the gateway ?

The gateway should be the ip address for the location your connecting to.
