"configure physical keyboard" - android subsystem in XA2 beta

Starting to play with my XA2 (Dual Sim) with the beta license. As I work through my beta pains, I am asking for advice regarding one that's recurring: The android subsystem repeatedly triggers a notification roughly containing: "configure physical keyboard - tap to selct a language and keyboard layout", which I cannot act on (when tapping the notification disappears and nothing else happens). How to remedy this (select a keyboars/language for android)?

This notification seems to pop up every time android subsystem is started. Tapping it sometimes takes me to some otherwise hidden and broken android settings, where if I tap anything the settings view crashes.
J24 ( 2019-02-11 16:20:05 +0200 )editIt looks like "settings", but unlike jolla's/sailfish's - and it doesn't always crash. At one time I was able to change permissions for android apps. However I can't close it by swiping (ends in a dark blue screen). And I can't find it anywhere - sometimes it appears on my screen.
