It might be handy to add a GUI for the pkcon refresh command to the Sailfish Utilities App, it seems that a number of users are needing to use the command but don't feel comfortable using the terminal.

If you need to use devel-su pkcon refresh then you are already in and using terminal,no?

In case the need is justified, the utility app is free software and merge request can be send to: https://github.com/sailfishos/sailfish-utilities

@Edz there are many situations in which people need to use devel-su pkcon refresh also when they are not using the shell. you can see it also often given as solution here on tjc. having a one button solution will make things a lot easier for noobs i think :)

You can use the app 'ShellEx' from openrepos for commands which you use often. For pkcon refresh add it without the devel-su. It will be a "2 Button" solution at least. ;)

@misc11 - can you give an example please?, I'm simply curious how pkcon refresh applies when NOT in terminal, thanks
