"Positive News"-time:

I am sure everyone has a bunch of native apps which simply work brilliantly on Sailfish OS and bring out the best of it for whatever reason. Let's share those and praise its devs. Maybe you'll discover a beautiful app you haven't heard of yet, making the daily use of SFOS a greater joy.

@pawel I agree. And wiki style answers for poll like questions for this, IMO.

Good to see osm scout is mentioned. Even so functionality of Pure Maps regarding navigation is far ahead. Map view and functions like hill shading still makes it for me, The better app when i'm hiking.

Books from Jolla Store is an app I really need, a native epub reader. Unplayer to listen to my music, much better than the original Jolla music player.

Shellex - one-click script execution. Very handy for me to save typing, for scripts that I use often.

tIde (Openrepos version) - Definitely the best text editor I've found for Sailfish so far. Openrepos version offers root support. In general, smooth and easy to use, with many features. A little slow to load large files, but has the option in settings to disable highlighting for quicker loading.

Filecase - The best we have so far for file manager. I particularly like the excellent search function, and the overall UI and usability is better than the others.

OSM Scout server - Invaluable data-saver, if you use maps regularly.

PodQast- podcast tool (stable version from Jolla store, new features appear first in version from openrepos.net)

I have switched to PodQast from the Android app that I was using until recently. Great app!
