How to disable display sleep for specific android apps

Some android apps disable display sleep (i.e. here navigation). It worked without problems on my Jolla. After I switched to xperia XA2 it doesn't work anymore. I have to touch the display regularly to keep the naviagtion app displaying the route, which is not exactly what I want to.

Not a real answer: give pure maps from openrepos a try ... it's a wonderful native navigation suite

The alien dalvik version for xa2 does not yet support blank prevention.

The issue is tracked at: https://together.jolla.com/question/201388/here-maps-locks-the-screen/
