I broke the contact pins on the sim socket of my Jolla 1 phone - I think the easiest fix is to replace the little board hosting the sd card slot and sim socket.. is there somewhere I can obtain such a board?

I have a fried Jolla 1 motherboard. (desoldered micro-USB connector got lose and shorted something)
Though I have no idea if the short that caused the motherboard's death has affected the SD and sim holder, though both the SIM card and the microSDXC card that were inside at that moment have survived and are working happily in my current Xperia X (whose microUSB connector is starting to behave badly in turen, since recently. Am I that violent with my USB connectors ?)
Where do you live ?
@DrYak I had the same problem with the Xperia X, the USB connected started to behave weirdly because it had been pushed a little bit inside of the phone and was kinda dusty, so the cable wasn't always making connection. The fix was to disassemble the phone and clean and put back in place the connector.

I'm just reeling a bit uncomfortable "dissassembling" a smartphone that requires some hot-air gun to do so. (But luckily, once inside, the connector is modular) Also my phone is still under warranty, so I'l get the official warranty handling repair shop do it for me.
Also: The depth of the USB in my case is normal, but the connector is completely wobbly. (Attachment point broken ?) Sometimes, if the charging cable/connector is manipulated while powered, the phone stops recognizing the cable. Debugging shows an abnormally low voltage. (some poly-fuse getting tripped by a short ? Or the short just grounding the power feed ?) Fumbling around with a quickcharge, eventually resets.

Unlikely. Unless you buy a used Jolla, in which case, you may as well just use the used one.
