Is it possible to enter space in phone number? [duplicate]

My phonebook is very old but still growing. For me it is important to recognize the different parts of a phone number, (e.g. international prefix, local prefix, number, extension) and I'd like to separate it by a space. SFOS can handle the space in phone numbers (by ignoring), but it's not possible to enter it in the contacts app. The only workaround is entering the number in notes and copy it into the contacts. Is there an easier way to do that?

@me_on_the_road

the trick is not to use search results, bit to type in and wait the scrolling down the suggestuons in the bar itself.

there i do find stuff, as soon as you hit enter.you get only crap as results
