[idea] Control media volume like ringtone volume
Hi sailors!
I've been wondering this for quite a while since we don't really have a good implementation to change media volume. Right now it seems the only way to change media volume is to first have some media played and then adjust it by the volume keys.
I'm used to have a some kind of slider for media volume too as we have for ringtone. It's quite annoying when last time you've listened something loudly and you can't easily adjust it before you start playing something new next time.
I'm also aware that there could be / are some kind of patches / implementations for this but I don't like the idea of taping some features to the OS since in my opinion volume control is quite practical everyday thing
Edit: I saw that there's actually this kind of media volume slider on Android settings but not on Sailfish side
You don't need to have some media actually played to change the media volume. It's enough to open/switch to an app which is capable of playing media sound like the Jolla browser and use the volume buttons.

Sakke ( 2019-05-03 10:49:17 +0200 )editThere was a feature on SFOS to control the media volume with three finger slide (https://together.jolla.com/question/87074/change-media-volume-without-buttons/) however at least on my Xperia XA2 it doesn't work - not sure if obsoleted or a bug...

Sakke ( 2019-05-03 10:59:50 +0200 )edit@Sakke, as far as I know it was a built in feature, not a patch. I don't like patches either, thus haven't installed any.
