Setting up my XA2 with Sailfish X

I just bought used XA2 (hard to find the one where seller is able too look if bootloader is unlockable). I was curious, what was the phone deleting when I unlocked the bootloader - found that some DRM stuff, camera drivers and so. This is never possible to get back?? If I decide to sell this phone, flash android back, would it be all back too??

I would like to setup these things but I do not know how, or if it is even possible to do.. :

1) wakeup phone need three actions - pressing button on the right, swipe from left/right, put phone pin code). Working fingerprint sensor would fix this partially because the sensor is on the back.. :(. So I cannot just use fingerprint sensor to unlock phone when it is in table holder - the back is covered. Well, that is Sony problem that they did it this was.. Does not need doubletap, swipe on locked screen should be enough (just like BB10 OS had it) - my finger would be still on screen so easily can it be changed.

2) I am setting ambiences to my needs (finally, android has only DND/ Vibrate / Normal, which is not enough for me..). But I am unable to setup vibrations. I need some ambiences not to vibrate, and some vibrating. Or, the ambiences are just for effect? Not setting for android apps? They are just vibrating all..

3) Facebook Messenger Lite. It works fine, but I am not using it right now, or I close it. And then, I am not getting any notifications from messenger. It has to be running on home screen tile. I already setup that it can run in the background, I can even see that there is process in Lite running (using Lighthouse) so it is running in background but not receiving notifications.

4) I have some android applications which I use rarely but then I really need them (bank apps, Amazon prime video, horizontv, ..). ALL of them are working great! That is surprising and pleasing. Unfortunatelly, there is ONE - Tesco ClubCard app which I use in that shop to get coupons or moneyback. It is saying about rooted device so it quits.. How can I set that android in sailfish is not rooted? Can I do it? If not, patching the app or what can I do?

5) Increasing volume for alarm sound?

6) smaller icons in app menu - there should be setting somewhere in /etc or elsewhere which can do this? I prefer everything small on screen, even fonts which I can set only Normal/Large/Huge..

7) I have seen something about XMPP here, but everything old and unsure for me. I have XMPP account in Sailfish set but now what? Seems that it is working as nothing is saying that it cannot connected or wrong password. How can I write someone?

(2) Take a look on the native Situations app in Jolla Store for these kind of needs. I understand you can use that for quick setting up your phone for your various every day life situations.

Ambiences are more for, well, ambience. They change the looks and colors and you can set up different tunes for various alarms. You can take out all the tunes to set up a silent Ambience, but vibration settings are not among the options.

(4) The app possibly checks up if you have su (superuser) binaries present in the system, and if it finds them it deems the system rooted. Renaming the binaries to something else has helped me to get some Android apps working, but but then the apps that use those binaries will stop working.

I sure would appreciate an app that allows me to toggle the su binaries on and off with renaming and re-renaming the binaries on one single button, so these Android apps can be used.

But this is not a fool-proof way, apparently there can be other check-ups for rooting in the Android apps.

(6) The openrepos has patches available for the launcher to change how many app icons will fit on the screen. Install their Warehouse (?) app for easy access to those customizing goodies.

1) That Situations app at first seemed that it is not what I wanted, but I can setup situation When Ambience 1 is set, then disable vibrations. When Ambience 2, 3, 4 is set, enable vibration. That would work for me. Great!

4) I tried already renaming su to susu, maybe I can try to different name, or renaming devel-su. If that works, It is easy job to make a script which will do this. If I can set that script as icon in UI, would work for me as I am using that app one time per week. But I think, they check root different way unfortunatelly :/.

6) I will try find it, warehouse was not found but it may have different name?

It seems that Warehouse is not yet up to date with the newest versions of Sailfish. Storeman is the app to go:

The patch fails when applying.. :( Also, situations do not see ambiences, I remove all the preset ones and set my own (I like to have my son on background) and situations still offer me only thr preset ambiences = it does not help me :/

4) I tried root check and everything is negative, only test keys is positive = rooted device. Can I do something with this? It seems to be some signing keys for system (android?).
