Android UI doesn't redraw when apps open eachother

When one Android app opens another Android app, e.g. Swish (Swedish payment solution) launches BankID (authenticator), the apps stop updating when they are in focus. If I swipe away the app and then re-enter they are repainted. That time. But typing my passcode in BankID does not show any input, even though I feel the vibration feedback and if I swipe away and re-enter I can see the input. If I launch BankID before starting the authentication it works as expected.
The same goes for other apps as well, e.g. Aptoide launching an app or opening Firefox from Trello. Preloading Firefox, as with BankID, works.
Can confirm this issue; the switching between BankID and Swish especially can be quite infuriating! Sometimes it works better than other times, but it's almost never smooth and I always end up having to switch back and forth manually anyway.
