When in an Android app, changing the volume brings up the volume bar, but also the rounded corners in the corners of the screen that aren't there normally.

At risk of sounding rude, what's your point?, it's hardly a problem, is it? Perhaps it's just a design choice? Maybe Jolla has chosen to 'mask' the corners of the screen with a small radius, while Android designers have gone for the square, clean cut look (no masked corners).

The thing here is that the corners suddenly become rounded when changing volume, not the initial lack of them.
