Hi sailors

I started the process but got stuck with the android-tools tool that I installed well with the CCM (Mageia Control Center). I am in step 4.7 of the instructions here : https://jolla.com/sailfishx-linux-instructions-xa2/

However when I enter the command while I am in the directory where is the folder "unzipped" provided by Jolla : < insert your unlock code> or the alternative command : fastboot -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0x<insert code="" unlock="" your=""></insert>

Mageia starts the command "reboot" directly and the pc just restarts.

Is there anyone in the forum who has already flashed an xa2 with mageia linux v7 ? It appears that the controls are slightly different. My computer is a lenovo X220i without USB3 port and I use a compatible usb cable to carry data.

What adjustments should I make to the instructions for flashing securely my xa2 (h3113) ?

Thanks a lot for your help

I have used last IIRC beta of Mageia 7 a few months ago. I only had to configure sudo and I created a symlink as android tools have different name IIRC. I have stored the script results so I can take a look if you need.

In your situation I would suspect USB drivers. But I could be very wrong.

fastboot is from a different package, you are looking for fastboot-android, available in android-tools. fastboot is quite a common name and is already taken :)
