Problem with Mæp update

For the last couple of days, Jolla Store is constantly bugging me with

1 update available
Mæp

notification. When I try to update, "Waiting" is displayed besides Mæp icon for a couple of minutes. After that, a message saying 

problem with store
Mæp is already up to date

pops up.

Currently installed version is 1.4.5, available version 1.4.8 .

Judging from comments on Jolla Store, other people have the same problem.

Uninstall/install didn't help. Is there any other workaround, like clearing/resetting the cache, or something?

I had the notification twice but it's now stopped. Didn't reinstall 'cos I didn't want to risk losing the map cache. Openrepos doesn't have 1.4.8.

Only oddity I've noticed is that it always seems to open with the tracks stuff at the top.

@Keto commented in the app stores comment section, something like "The update issue has now been fixed" (3 months ago).

Sorry to see you have issues. I didn't face it myself and didn't notice earlier. I'm off for the month but will push another version tto the store at the end of the month. Hopefully it will sort out this update issue.
