Show text in e-mails without loading pictures

I have a problem with the e-mail client. I want to read my e-mails without loading any pictures. As soon that there is an image in the text, it stays blank until one loads the pictures.Screenshot_20190719_003.png

Hey, the screenshots contain some personal details, I suggest deleting them and reuploading blurred versions.

I've noticed the same thing. Doesn't happen with all emails, though. Very annoying.

@ds1979: Please check Settings > Apps > Email for "Download images automatically".

@jovirkku: The problem is that you shouldn't have to load the pictures just to show the text. Especially not downloading them automatically, which is a guaranteed spam attractor.

For what it's worth, though, I've also seen this problem on my computer. It seems to be a WebKit issue.
