Missed call not cleared by calling the number back

Hi,

I just noticed this on my XA2 running 3.1.0 EA. I'm not sure if this was the case in, say, 3.0.3, but think this was introduced with the reworked Phone app:

  • Have your friend call you, don't answer
  • Note you have a notification for missed call
  • Unlock phone, open Phone app
  • Click the missed red history item and call back to your friend (no need to answer)
  • The red missed call item turns into white outgoing call item

Expected outcome:

  • The events view notification item should be cleared when calling back the missed call

What should have happened:

  • The events view notification item remains

By contrast, doing the same with Email and Messages (SMS) work as intended; the events view notification is cleared.

Confirm on my Xperia X. This happens also for some other apps. Opening messages app want clear the notifications.

I just tested this on SFOS 3.2.0 with XA2 Ultra, and it does get cleared when I click the unanswered call. I don't have call back immediately enabled, though.

Are you running SFOS 3.2.0 on your Xperia X? I'd test it myself, but unfortunately I need my X for LineageOS purposes...

@Direc I just tested on my Xperia X with 3.2.0.x and it seems to be resolved now.
