after using the phone, the maximum volume is lower than initially (after a reboot). so i assume, phone app changes or locks the audio configuration somehow... reoroduce: 1. listen some music at max volume 2. make a call 3. listen again some music at max volume xa2 single sim on newest sfos

I have to crank up the volume on my car stereo really high when listening to BT music.

I also have this problem. After restarting, the speaker sound is very small, and the connected headphones sound very loud. After answering the phone, the speaker sound becomes louder and the sound of the connected headphones becomes very small. There is also a difference in sound quality before and after the call is connected.

  1. I recognise this problem.
  2. Furthermore, I experienced that the sound through headphones was really too loud on my ears, while the XA2 showed the volume was at its minimum state. It would be nice if the top menu could show an accurate volume setting for phone calls / music etc. apart from the ringtone volume. - And for that I found a way to handle it. Press volume up until the screen shows maximum, then volume down until your ears are happy again.

thats the exact opposite...

@manu says volume is low after a call, you say its low and after call returns normal. and my XA2 is all normal...

seems like there is really sth fishy... but i would leave this thread open to show the prablem seems to have some vatiety...

@misc11 Maybe the two of them said different objects. The speaker sound that one person said, the sound of the earphone that another person said.

@xbt123ufo i think thats all connected somehow... i think its one problem affecting both output devices, its like the output devices get switched up....

@misc11 Before making a call, the sound of the speaker is actually shaper than the headphone's, and even the bass is lacking, but the sound of the earphone is very rough. I have a feel that jolla makes the sound of the speaker into the earphone's, and the sound of the earphone is made into the speaker's.

I recognized that the problem occurs if I listen to music with headphones and disconnect the headphone and reconnect the headphone again. The max volume is lower afterwards and the only solution I found until now is to reboot the phone.
