Hi, since SFOS 3.1.0.11, Jolla enable the option in Android Support of Disable Android system package verification, as you can see in here https://together.jolla.com/question/209300/how-to-microg-in-sfos-31/, was reported that is working for some users, allowing then to use Microg, but for me and other people, is not possible to enable as does not appear the permission in (Android) Settings > Apps & notifications > App permissions > enable system package replacement, even following the instrutions from the link https://together.jolla.com/question/209300/how-to-microg-in-sfos-31/

In my case, the Disable Android system package verification option does not even exist in Settings > Android support. The second toggle there is still to allow or forbid access to contacts, as in the previous SFOS version. Yet I am in 3.1.0.11 now. Renaming ~/.android/data and rebooting did not change it.

Actually I have other issues with Android since the upgrade to 3.1.0.11. Alien Dalvik doesn't work at all for me, and seems to fail to start. I can see the Alien Dalvik toggle blinking in Settings > Aliendalvik, and the "Stop" button is greyed out in Settings > Android support.

When Disable Android system package verification option didn't appear, was because I upgraded from Hossa to Seitseminen without installing Android Support, what I did was Factory reset, then installed Android Support, then updated to Seitseminen

I successfully used microG on XA2 H3123 with v17B binaries (though I'm not using microG now because some apps I need don't work with it). Don't know if this would help you, but when I got it to work I had removed /home/.android/data (will delete all your Android apps etc.) to start from a clean Android installation. (You can also move the directory somewhere else to debug the problem, and move it back to get your apps and data if it still doesn't work.)

How can I delete or move the /home/.android/data folder? Even with devel-su I cannot rouch the files & folder ...

@mrtrm Stop Android support, then run devel-su rm -r /home/.android.

@Artur thanks! For me it only started working after I reflashed with the new 3.1 image. That was before your answer. So I was unable to check if it finally worked on my setup with your solution. What I did check was that after the update of my previous sfos to 3.1 delivered the right aliendalvik version as in drYak's howto. But that wasn't enough as a prerequisite on my previous setup ... I'm glad everything works now and will not go back to try the other way around. Greetings

@pemek: make a separate answer out of your comment.
