[3.1.0.11] Disable Android system package verification don't work (for some users) [answered]
Hi, since SFOS 3.1.0.11, Jolla enable the option in Android Support of Disable Android system package verification, as you can see in here https://together.jolla.com/question/209300/how-to-microg-in-sfos-31/, was reported that is working for some users, allowing then to use Microg, but for me and other people, is not possible to enable as does not appear the permission in (Android) Settings > Apps & notifications > App permissions > enable system package replacement, even following the instrutions from the link https://together.jolla.com/question/209300/how-to-microg-in-sfos-31/

carmeloferso ( 2019-07-25 15:24:11 +0200 )editIn my case, the Disable Android system package verification option does not even exist in Settings > Android support. The second toggle there is still to allow or forbid access to contacts, as in the previous SFOS version. Yet I am in 3.1.0.11 now. Renaming
~/.android/data
and rebooting did not change it.Actually I have other issues with Android since the upgrade to 3.1.0.11. Alien Dalvik doesn't work at all for me, and seems to fail to start. I can see the Alien Dalvik toggle blinking in Settings > Aliendalvik, and the "Stop" button is greyed out in Settings > Android support.
Kabouik ( 2019-07-25 15:33:50 +0200 )editWhen Disable Android system package verification option didn't appear, was because I upgraded from Hossa to Seitseminen without installing Android Support, what I did was Factory reset, then installed Android Support, then updated to Seitseminen
