sailfish app reading .img files

hi! I am wondering is there any sailfish native aop that can read the garmin .img files? on android locus or oruxmaps can do it. it would be an app specialised in offline hiking i guess...

It would be good to know do these files actually hold ? Offline map data or something else (tracklogs ?).
