Jolla Phone doesn't return from roaming

This is becoming annoying and any help to solve this issue would be appreciated, as I've exhausted every solution I could think of.

I live in Germany have three Jolla Phones with two different network providers.(T-Mobile/Telefonica), which usually work fine.

Naturally I take my phone with me on my vacation, and the phone continues to work fine in other countries. But most of the time when I return to Germany, I have difficulties with the mobile network connection.

So far the only solution that has helped was to get a new SIM card which is very annoying.

Case 1: T-Mobile device travels to Austria, upon return the network rejects the phone entirely, not even calling is possible.
The Telefonica device is fine btw.
T-Mobile device returns to Austria and works again, but refuses to work after returning to Germany.
->Bought a new SIM

Case 2: Telefonica device travels to Japan, upon return SMS no longer works(sending/reception)

Case 3: T-Mobile device travels to Poland, upon return the network rejects the phone entirely, not even calling is possible.
The Telefonica device is fine btw.

The third case happened last week and the phone is still running, so I should be able to provide logs.

Things I've already tried(without success):

  • Rebooting, restarting ofono, flight mode
  • Switching SIMs, the issue moves with the card
  • Checked the Phone Number for SMS Central, but it was entered correctly
  • Checked the logs from ofono once, but I found nothing suspicious, apart form the message 'Rejected' from the network
  • Contacted network providers, but they were no help

I have the strange thing that when I select my network at home manually, it all works. (Dutch Vodafone reseller). When I go to Belgium or Germany, I have to set it to automatic selection, and roaming works fine. Upon return I can only get connected by setting it to manual again, which involves a few reboots :)

I hope this helps. Did you already fiddle with automatic/manual network selection at home, and doing 1 or 2 reboots? BTW, I have a Jolla 1 on 3.1.0.11 too.

Unfortunately this doesn't help. The phone shows all networks just fine, but the connection gets always rejected(No matter which country the network is in). The only network that I can connect to is the last used one.

Try;

devel-su systemctl restart connman.service

Are there any logs I should save before I do that and if so, how should I save them?
